A NES controller for your PIMPtendo

8bitking took an old, boring, nes controller and gave it a different style. First he revitalized the outside by adding a fresh coat of gold paint. Then added some classy zebra fur to the top and capped the d-pad and A/B buttons with some gemstones. I wouldn’t expect any less from a controller that belongs to a modded NES console dubbed the “PIMPtendo”.

Although dogbone’s were also available [...]

Bandai Nes Mega Controller

A high tech controller for its day. The Bandai Mega Controller is a neat collectors piece, but not something I’d find myself using that often. The mode that I found the most interesting was the Arsenal mode. I liked the idea of limiting how many shots you could use during a game. Adds some fresh challenge to older game titles.

Bandai Super Controller

Released by Bandai in 1986 this simple plastic clip-on device gave your stock Nes controller a small joystick. Either the taller stick style, like in the video, or a shorter round ball style. There’s a hole on the top of thesuper controller to hold your second joystick insert. I found it to function fine on the games I tested but there are much more available, better handling and cheaper joystick options for the Nes system. Such as the NES Advantage joystick.
