PS3 Move Guns
Today we're going to take a look at PS3 Guns for the new move motion controller. As the peace filled holidays approach you have several ps3 weapons hitting the market to fit around the move controller. Making it less magical wand and more bulbous firearm. Lock n' Globe.
PS3 Move Battle Rifle

The makers of Move Battle Rifle have opted to extend a barrel past the actual controller; not a bad decision as it help retains a weapon profile. I'm guessing placing the controller under the barrel like a grenade launcher would have interfered with the motion sensing. The Battle Rifle is being released on Nov. 26th.
PlayStation Move Submachine Gun

For some QCB action you can also check out the PS3 Move Submachine Gun by CTA. With a tan plastic body this move gun features removable scope and stock. It doesn't mention if it provides iron sights or if you can actually see down the scope.
PS3 Move Blaster Combo Pack

Favoring a less realistic coloring and design this combo pack features a matching shotgun and snub nosed pistol. Releasing this Dec. 15th.

Cheap USB Foot Switch Pedal Review
Cheap USB Foot Switch Pedal
Recently I was looking for a cheap USB foot switch controller to use during PC gaming. But pedal like this can also be used for transcription. I have mine mostly to have it set as the activate voice chat button inside a game. Ended up going onto Ebay and buying one of the cheaper Hong Kong single pedal options. Total cost after shipping was $8.46 and it took about 10 business days to show at my west coast location.

On the plus side the single foot pedal is pretty compact so it doesn't take up a ton of space under your desk. I wear a size 9 Mens shoe and my bare foot fits comfortably on the pedal. It does have four rubber feet on the underside that helps keep it planted on smoother flooring. You can also rest part of your foot on the pedal without it activating.
On the minus side of things I don't like how its a bit "clacky" when you push the pedal down completely. The noise is from the plastic pedal top making contact with the plastic base. The noise was slight enough that it didn't get picked up by my current microphone set up.
The included software is very simple and I found it easy to assign the pedal to a keyboard button while using Windows 7. PC didn't have any issues recognizing the usb foot switch when I plugged it in. Check out the high res software screen-shot for a better idea on what other functions can be assigned to the foot pedal.
This foot switch is small, cheap and does it's intended function. The usb pedal is something I'd recommend for a someone on a budget looking for a lighter use foot switch.
